Scholz Insurance was established in 1985 by Lance R. Scholz. Lance specialized in Medicare supplementation, basing his business philosophy on educating those entering the world of Medicare so that they can be confident in their understanding of coverage options and, ultimately, their choices of coverage.

In 2015 Lance’s daughter, Nicole, joined Lance in his business, taking over the business in 2018 when Lance retired. Nicole continues the business philosophy established by her father.

Nicole has lived in Bend since 1985. Her professional background includes management, insurance processing, and medical billing. She is licensed in Medicare Supplements, Life Insurance, Long-Term Care, Short-Term Care, Final Expense, and Annuities. She has a Master’s Degree in English & Creative Writing, and enjoys writing in her spare time.

Nicole loves living in Bend and enjoys all of the outdoor activity and beauty it has to offer.
